VP-Development and Construction

As the Vice President of Development and Construction, Jim is responsible for the oversight of all phases of Blue Ridge Companies’ development activities, including project development, entitlement, design, and construction.  During his seventeen years with Blue Ridge, Jim has been responsible for the development of over 15,000 apartment units across the Southeast from concept through completion. He has also provided influential contributions with the Triad Real Estate and Building Industry Coalition (TREBIC) and the Apartment Association of North Carolina’s Regulatory Subcommittee.  Jim is a longstanding expert of the Commercial Real Estate Development industry, bringing with him extensive experience and knowledge in the following fields: single family and multifamily residential development, commercial construction, and land development.  A North Carolina General Contractor License Qualifier, Jim also holds both his BSBA in Business Administration and MBA from East Carolina University, in Greenville, North Carolina.
